Warshaw Group System Supports NYC School Construction Authority $14.9 Billion Budget Update

Warshaw Group systems helped the New York City School Construction Authority identify and justify the $14.9 billion budget update for fiscal years 2015-2019 to construct and repair schools, create Pre-Ks and remove trailers. Prior to January 2016, the budget was $13.5 billion, but with reimbursements and proposed additional funding, the SCA was able to receive an extra $1.4 billion. “We’re proud that our systems helped planners identify and justify $1.4 billion worth of renewal projects when additional funds become available,” says President Steven Warshaw.
