Warshaw Group systems empower NYCHA to justify $1.3 billion capital investment to replace deteriorating roofs on NYCHA buildings

Mayor de Blasio and New York City Housing Authority Chair Shola Olatoye recently committed $1 billion to replace deteriorating roofs. Coupled with Mayor de Blasio’s 2015 commitment to invest $300 million, the total amount allocated to this initiative reaches $1.3 billion. Warshaw Group condition assessment systems informed NYCHA on the conditions of the roofs, and our capital planning systems enabled NYCHA to justify the capital investment to replace deteriorating roofs. Over 950 buildings and more than 175,000 residents will reap the benefits of this investment.
